Using the Clone Stamp Tool

 
The Call Me Maybe pose uses a close up of the model. This means that the whole face is in greater prominence and shows the whole face in a personal space proximity to the viewer of the photo. This means that if there are any blemishes on model they can be seen by everyone that views and buys the magazine.

As the model has some marks on the face and on the thumb, I need to make sure that these are not seen by the audience.

There are tools on the programme Photoshop which can be used in these circumstances, this one in particular is called the cloning stamp tool. This device picks a certain part of the face/skin (in this case) and makes a copy of it, this can then be duplicated over the flaw in the photo to conceal it. I have decided to use this stamp tool to mask and remove the imperfections on both the thumb and the face.
